As the Senior Manager Oliver provides the critical leadership and oversight for all UFINC projects. Oliver L. Gross has more than 20 years of experience as a real estate developer, public administrator and commercial banker. He currently serves as President of New Urban Development, LLC a subsidiary of the Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc. New Urban has primary responsibility for the acquisition, development, construction oversight, financing and property management of the myriad of commercial and residential housing developments owned and/or managed by the Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc. and its subsidiary entities (the “League”). Prior to his current position, he was Vice president of Development for the Urban League. In both roles Mr. Gross has been responsible for over eighty million
($80,000,000) dollars in development and has created a pipeline of an additional One hundred Million ($100, 00,000) dollars. Mr. Gross currently is the chair of the 79th Street Corridor Neighborhood Initiative, Inc. along with being the treasurer and a member of the executive committee of the South Florida Community Development Coalition. Mr. Gross is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) SE Florida/Caribbean District Council’s Advisory Committee. He also serves on the ULI’S Housing and Infrastructure Task Forces. The Board of County Commissioner’s for Miami – Dade County appointed Mr. Gross chairman of the 79th Street CRA in July of 2013.Mr. Gross has earned certifications as a Real Estate Development Professional and a U.S.HUD Certified Occupancy Specialist.
